Climatologists

Different ways to become a climatologist.
1. Climatologists study weather patterns, charts, photographs, and interpret maps. To be a climatologist you must have a background in math and physics. To become a climatologist, you must also take meteorology, climatology, and courses as well as agricultural, biological, physics, statistics, ecology, computer, or natural science, and you must have a Bachelor's or a doctoral degree in meteorology. In high school, take classes in mathematics, biology, physics, and computer science.

2.In order to become a climatologists study hard and work well in math and science when your still in high school. Climatologists also have to learn other subjects like botany, zoology, paleonology, and even astronomy. You also have to make long term predictions using math and science.

Blog Summary
We’ve learned that climatology and botany both work together to study plants. One way is that they both try to find answers to why on one side of the mountain, the leaves on plants are big and on the other side the leaves on the plants are small. Another way is that climatology can help explain adaptation in species over time.
We’ve also learned that climatologist study climate change by looking over weather patterns, graphs, and computers and so on.

Summit Summary

What we learned from the summit was that every biome is affected by changes in climate that effect temperature and precipitation. We learned that Global Climate Change has caused more hurricanes to increase globally.
It has also increased and decreased the temperatures in different areas of the world. Global Climate Change has affected the different climates of the world. The water levels of the world have either increased or decreased in different areas of the world. We CAN help to slow down the process of global warming by using solar powered energy and wind energy. This is because the sun and the wind are everlasting energy sources and all other energy sources produce some sort of pollution. We’ve learned that if an animal has not adapted to its environment that the animal will die.
